A Wedding Full of Charm and Romance Awaits You at Spring Lake Woods

All weddings hosted at Spring Lake Woods, located in the heart of Western Kentucky, are beautiful, unique and memorable: whether you are on a tight budget or the sky is the limit. We offer various options and services to assist you in creating your Special Day including a' la carte pricing if you want to utilize a wedding planner or take the reigns yourself or inclusive packages at several budget levels to ease your planning burden. Whether a large, outdoor event during the season or a small, intimate affair anytime of the year, Spring Lake Woods provides a wedding venue of infinite possibilities for the creation of your memories of a lifetime.


As would be the case at any venue, the cost of a wedding hosted at Spring Lake Woods depends largely on the wishes of the Bride. There are many things to consider in addition to mere rental of the facility from food, floral and music options for any sized event to tent, furniture and linen rentals for formal outdoor weddings. Whew!
So, let's start with the easy part..rental of our facilities. We charge a facility fee for most events hosted here, the amount of which is determined by the type of use and number of guests anticipated to attend. Large, outdoor weddings are most-appropriately held in the pool area and grounds overlooking Spring Lake behind Ruby Lodge and incur the following facility fees:

Minimum facility fee - $1,500 (up to 150 guests)
Minimum $500 additional (per each group of 50 guests)*
*Events for over 250 guests are generally not recommended.

Smaller wedding receptions of no more than 75 guests can be held inside at either The Ruby Lodge or The Lake House depending on your needs and desired atmosphere. The nightly facility rental fee for either house is $500 for this purpose.

Note that The Lake House makes the perfect venue for a private rehearsal dinner for up to 50 guests. If rented in conjunction with a wedding to be held on the grounds, we offer a 20% discount off the regular facility fee or only $400.

The facility fee entitles the Bride and her guest to the following:
~ Exclusive* use of the indoor and outdoor common areas
of the rented facility for the day of the ceremony.
~ Parking assistance by our staff for events of over 50
~ Use of the wedding venue for rehearsal the evening prior
to the wedding.
~ Standard electical useage for tent and other desired
lighting or music amplification.
~ Use of the Pool Bar (for outdoor events at Ruby Lodge).
~ Trash bussing and removal.
~ Use of indoor common area powder rooms for the guests.
~ If a tent is desired, tent placement at the reception
location up to 3 days prior to the event date.

*Note: Spring Lake Woods operates as a Bed & Breakfast.
Be aware that while overnight guests not associated with your
event may be present on the property, they are not permitted
to attend your event.


Make a weekend event out of your wedding! When booked in conjunction with a wedding held at one of our facilities, we are happy to offer special pricing on all of our guest rooms for members of the bridal party and out-of-town guests.

Rooms are priced at the fixed rate of $90 per night at Ruby Lodge and $75 per night at the Hammack-Moore House (assumes double-occupancy). You may assign the rooms yourself or allow your guests to choose their preference on a first-come, first-served basis.

What's really fun is that we serve a full, homemade breakfast at the Ruby Lodge or Lake House to all of your overnight guests each morning of their stay (assumes 2 guests per room; additional breakfast guests can join in for $14.95 per person):
A great start to your wedding day and opportunity to unwind and relive the happy moments the morning after.

As a special treat, we'll leave a small "Bridal Basket" in the room of all bridesmaids staying with us filled with spa-type lotions and bath products for them to take home along with a $10 gift certificate for our favorite shop The Gift Horse right down the street! Rooms subject to availability.


Some decisions about your wedding are inherently personal: the perfect wedding and bridesmaids gowns, your colors, favorite flowers, the groom, the cake, the photographer. These choices can only be made by you (although we can make some recommendations). But what about all the other decisions and arrangements that will have to be made for an outdoor wedding like rental of the tent, chairs, tables, linens, dance floor...who is a good DJ, caterer or bartender? With this part, we can help.

We have recently created several inclusive wedding packages designed to alleviate much of the Bride's (or Bride's Mom's) planning and scheduling burden by partnering with other wedding vendors with whom we have experience and trust. Prices range depending on the level of luxury that you desire and Dad can stomach.

Wedding Packages at all levels include the following:
~ Facility Fee (and associated services).
~ Use of the Ruby Lodge Pool Bar.
~ Rental and set-up of tent, dining tables & chairs, linens,
ceremony chairs.
~ Rental of Gothic Arch ceremony arbor & setup.
~ Rental and setup of portable toliets, as required.
~ White trash boxes, as necessary.
~ Hand-thrown Ruby Lodge mugs for the happy couple.


In addition to providing our venue for your use, we can also provide your guests with a scrumpious menu selection to enjoy during the celebration. Offerings range from sweets to hors d'oeuvres to buffet dinners at a price to fit most any budget. The cost of our wedding catering services is inclusive of tasteful presentation on silver and china serving peices, premium plastic plates, cups and eating utencils and white paper napkins for your guests and table bussing. Guest service with glass, china and stainless steel flatware can also be arranged at an additional rental and cleaning charge.


A deposit of 30% of all applicable fees is required to reserve your date and/or guaranty the desired services, with the remaining balance due one (1) week prior to the event. These payments must be made in cash or check. Guest Rooms, however, may be reserved and paid for with a major credit card, which will not be charged until the date of check-in of your guests (subject to our standard cancellation policy). Deposits are non-refundable for cancelled events but in some limited circumstances may be applied to a rescheduled event, subject to availability.
